Cosquer Méditerranée
AAB designed the complete restoration of the Grotte Cosquer at the Villa Méditerranée, Marseille: 3,500 m² of sculpted concrete, 400 m of speleothems and the complete scenography of the embarkation station. 1 year of studies, 10 months on site to recreate the original reliefs, colors and basins.
Lascaux IV International Center of Cave Art
For the Conseil Général, AAB recreated 1,000 m² of walls and ceilings of the prehistoric cave facsimile (8,500 m²). A year of studies, followed by a year on site, enabled us to reproduce the reliefs, geology and chromia identically. Opening: December 2016.
La Caverne Pont d'Arc
Atelier Artistique du Béton has reproduced, in anamorphic version, the 8,000 m² of walls, ceilings and floors of the Grotte Chauvet. Six months of studio studies and tests enabled us to develop textures and renderings of striking fidelity.
The City of History
Cité de l'Histoire, immersive museum near Paris: Atelier Emocio designed, monitored and built the experience: 1,200 m² of sculpted concrete, 720 m² of themed floors, cycloramas, accessories, paint, partitions, trains and animated cannons.
