Based in Mormant, near Paris, and active since 1989, the Atelier Artistique du Béton (AAB) brings together sculptors, architects, engineers and craftsmen capable of transforming concrete into a living material. Our team has mastered the art of ultra-high performance shotcrete, moulded or fibre-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC), which can be used to create very fine volumes while guaranteeing exceptional resistance to weathering and wear. Thanks to these complementary skills, Atelier Artistique du Béton (AAB) supports its customers from the first sketch to turnkey delivery: 3D design, prototyping, structural testing, workshop manufacture, transport and on-site installation.
From theme parks such as Europa-Park and Parc Astérix to emblematic heritage sites such as Lascaux IV and the Grotte Chauvet, AAB creates permanent decors that combine historical authenticity with spectacular staging. Rocks, stalactites, fortress walls, Mayan temples, coral reefs or suspended walkways: each piece is hand-sculpted to blend perfectly with its environment and tell an engaging story.
Aware of environmental issues, Atelier Artistique du Béton (AAB) favours local aggregates, optimises thicknesses to reduce carbon footprint and incorporates solutions for recovering site water. Our CSR department is also working on the reuse of moulds and the recovery of mineral waste.
Beyond the technical aspects, AAB's strength lies in its ability to work with the scenographers, designers and storytellers of the Atelier Emocio group to orchestrate global immersive experiences. We don't just deliver a set, we create a world ready to welcome your visitors in complete safety, complying with ERP and CTS standards and the maintenance requirements of operators.
Whether you're looking to sublimate a museum trail, enhance the theming of an aquatic attraction or bring a local legend to life, trust Atelier Artistique du Béton (AAB) to give shape to your ambitions.
